The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with Versaterm to send text messages and customer service survey text messages. Our messaging policy is below:
- Versaterm CommunityConnect automatically sends text messages for 9-1-1 call acknowledgments, incident updates, and mobile-friendly feedback surveys to help public safety agencies keep the community informed.
- You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting “STOP” to the short code. Once you send “STOP,” we will send you a confirmation SMS to confirm you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, simply sign up as you did initially, and we will start sending you SMS messages again.
- If you’re having trouble with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or contact support directly at support@spidrtech.com.
- Carriers are not responsible for messages that are delayed or not delivered.
- As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages at a frequency that varies based on your interactions with public safety services. If you have questions about your text or data plan, it’s best to contact your wireless provider.
